When to put money behind a post — and when not to
Paid media works best when it amplifies a message people already understand. Here is how we decide what deserves budget.

The boost button makes advertising look simple: choose a post, choose a budget and wait for the numbers to rise. The numbers usually do rise. Whether the business benefits is a different question.
We treat paid media as distribution, not rescue. It can put a strong message in front of more of the right people. It cannot make an unclear offer useful or turn a slow follow-up process into a good customer experience.
Check the foundations first
- The offer is specific enough to understand in a few seconds.
- The creative shows the product, person or outcome clearly.
- The destination page or WhatsApp flow answers the next question.
- Someone is ready to respond while the lead is still interested.
Back messages that have already earned attention
Organic performance is useful research. A post that draws thoughtful comments, saves or direct messages has given you evidence that the subject matters. Paid distribution can then take that message beyond the people who already know you.
"Spend to extend a useful conversation, not to make a quiet post look busy."
Decide what a good result costs
A thousand impressions are not worth the same to every business. Work backwards from the value of a qualified enquiry or sale, then decide what you can responsibly pay to create one. That number should guide budget decisions more than a platform recommendation.
Start with a controlled test, compare distinct messages and keep the sales feedback close. The comments from the person answering leads are often more useful than another dashboard column.
